The Ministry of Equipment has announced that a partial traffic diversion will be put in place from Saturday October 18, 2025 on regional road no. 22, at the La Cagna bridge, for a period of 30 days. This measure is part of the project to extend the southern entrance to the Capital, a major project aimed at streamlining traffic towards the center of Tunis.
Motorists coming from the Ben Arous Trauma and Burns Center and heading towards the city center, the airport or Bizerte will have to take the right lane before the La Cagna bridge, then follow the new temporary road specially designed for this period of work.
On the other hand, traffic remains unchanged for drivers heading towards El Ouardia and Bab Alioua via the La Cagna bridge.
