The Tunisian selection is playing its last match of the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup this Monday, October 13, 2025, at the Hamadi Agrebi stadium in Radès, against Namibia.
A meeting scheduled for 2:00 p.m., under the direction of Senegalese referee Issa Sy, and which will be broadcast live on three channels:
- Watania 1 (national terrestrial channel),
- MBC 5 (for the MENA region),
- Sport Digital (in Portugal).
A match without pressure but with symbolic stakes
Already qualified and undefeated, the Carthage Eagles approach this last meeting without stress, but with the desire to preserve their invincibility and consolidate their position in the FIFA rankings. With 25 points and no goals conceded in nine matches, the Tunisians largely dominated Group H and secured their ticket to the North American World Cup since the 8th day.
Coach Sami Trabelsi should take the opportunity to rotate his squad, give playing time to certain replacements and prepare for the next competitions: the Arab Cup and CAN 2025.
A festive atmosphere
Opposite, Namibia (15 pts) no longer has any chance of reaching the play-offs. The Brave Warriors will simply try to finish on a good note, facing a Tunisian team who will play above all for honor and prestige.
To encourage large attendance, the Tunisian Football Federation (FTF) announced free entry for women and children. An initiative which aims to end in style an exemplary qualifying campaign for the Eagles of Carthage.
