The Tunisian selection, already qualified for the 2026 World Cup, faces Sao Tome and Principe this Friday, October 10 at the Hamadi Agrebi stadium in Radès, at 5:00 p.m. The objective: to continue its victorious momentum and fine-tune the final adjustments before the big world meeting.

A match without stakes… but not without ambition

First in its group with 22 points, Tunisia approaches this 9th day of the African qualifiers in the shoes of a team already qualified. The national coach, however, wants to maintain the dynamic and offer his public a solid performance against Sao Tome and Principe, the bottom of the group, still at zero points.

Special feature: due to the lack of a stadium approved by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Sao Tome and Principe chose to play this meeting “at home”… in Radès, Tunisia.

A test before the World Cup draw

Beyond the score, the Carthage Eagles also aim to preserve their FIFA rank before the draw for the 2026 World Cup, scheduled for early December. The opportunity to fine-tune the automation and test certain players in a more relaxed context.

The match, refereed by Malagasy Rakotojaona Andofetra, will be broadcast live on Watania 1 and Sport TV 2 (Portugal).
