Two organ transplant operations were carried out successfully this weekend in Kairouan, from a 32-year-old donor. A feat made possible thanks to coordination between several hospitals in the country, under the supervision of the National Center for the promotion of organ transplantation.
The interventions mobilized the teams of the Ibn El Jazzar hospitals of Kairouan, Fattouma Bourguiba de Monastir, Sahloul de Sousse and Charles Nicolle de Tunis. This exemplary collaboration made it possible to save several lives, illustrating the effectiveness of the national transplant system.
