Orange Tunisia Foundation: a new momentum for digital and united education

The Orange Tunisia Foundation continues its investment in digital education with new initiatives for the 2025-2026 school year. For more than ten years, this program, carried out in partnership with the Ministry of Education, has contributed to reducing school inequalities and strengthening social inclusion.

Digital schools that are multiplying

Launched in 2014, the digital school program has already made it possible to equip 185 primary schools spread across the country. More than 61,600 students and teachers now benefit from tablets, laptops, video projectors, playful content and robotics kits.

Tunisian students were also distinguished internationally with three Wikichallenge prizes, rewarding their productions on the Vikidia educational encyclopedia.

Innovation is invited to hospitals

After a first experience at CHU Sahloul de Sousse, the initiative crosses a new course with the installation of digital classes in three health establishments: the children’s hospital in Bab Saadoun (Tunis), the Mohamed Kassab Institute (Manouba) and the CHU Hédi Chaker (SFAX). These spaces will allow hospitalized children to continue their education despite the interruptions due to the disease.

New actions for the start of the 2025-2026 school year

The Foundation provides for the deployment of 15 new digital schools this year, to which are added the projects launched in hospitals.

In parallel, the solidarity operation “Back to School”, organized with the association Un enfant, smiles, made it possible to offer school supplies to 450 students from the public schools of Hlima and Houch Hlima (Fernana, Jendouba).

Magic back to school: 15 years of solidarity

Another unmissable event, Magic Return celebrates its 15th anniversary. Since its launch, nearly 1,800 children from disadvantaged backgrounds have received school kits. The 2025 edition has mobilized many volunteer employees of Orange Tunisia alongside the partner association to support students towards success.

Digital as a inclusion lever

Through these actions, the Orange Tunisia Foundation confirms its desire to make digital technology a tool for equal opportunities. Teacher training, the provision of educational resources and the commitment of volunteers constitute the pillars of this strategy, designed to prepare the young generations for the challenges of tomorrow.
