Swiss cooperation in Tunisia continues to bear fruit. According to Fabrizio Poretti, director of Swiss cooperation in Tunis, near 7,000 people benefited from training programs funded by Switzerlandmainly aimed at strengthening employability and promoting job creation.

For its part, Ahlem Haj Ammar, president of the Tuniso-Switzerland Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said that Swiss companies rank tenth in Tunisia in terms of foreign direct investmentbut occupy the Fifth place in terms of job creation.
She cited the example of a Swiss company long established in Tunisia in the building materials sector, which alone employs 3,000 workers.
