The Minister of Communication Technologies, Sofiene Hemissi, met yesterday the French diplomat Nadia Hai, ambassador for the Mediterranean, in order to advance in the preparations for the second edition of the Mediterranean Summit of Artificial Intelligence, which will be held in Tunisia on November 20 and 21, 2025.
Reunion, organized at the headquarters of the ministryfocused on logistical and diplomatic coordination around the event. This summit must bring together several countries residents of the Mediterranean, international experts as well as public and private actors in the digital sector.
A strategic meeting for the region
The displayed objective is to make this meeting a space for exchanges on the opportunities and risks linked to AI, in particular in fields such as education, health, digital economy and security. Regional cooperation and Tuniso-Français partnerships are among the priorities discussed.
After a first edition in Marseille, this second edition will bring together all the key players in artificial intelligence in the region.
