True to a well -established tradition, Orange Tunisia organized the 12ᵉ edition of Smart Day, a ceremony dedicated to the valuation of knowledge and school performance. The event rewarded 120 children of employees for their exceptional results in primary, secondary and university cycles.

A recognition for 120 winners

This year, the distinctions concerned:

  • 60 students of 6ᵉ year,
  • 30 students of 9ᵉ year (patent),
  • 21 graduates,
  • 9 students for their university successes.

Smart Day illustrates Orange Tunisia’s desire to encourage effort and support the young generations in their educational journey.

For Stéphane Varret, Managing Director of Orange Tunisia, this celebration is a showcase of a wider commitment:

“At Orange Tunisie, we are convinced that education is the key to the future. With Smart Day, we celebrate excellence and effort, but our commitment goes far beyond. »»

He recalled other initiatives carried out by the operator, such as the PFE challenge, which transforms academic projects into professional opportunities, or the program of digital schools, intended to fight against dropping out of school and to offer young people the same chances of success.

Human at the center of HR strategy

Habib Latrach, director of human resources, stressed that Smart Day is also a reflection of the company’s HR vision:

“It is a concrete illustration of our strategy, which places humans and the development of talents at the heart of our priorities. »»

By celebrating the successes of the children of its employees, Orange Tunisia intends to strengthen the link between individual performance and collective success.

Beyond the event, Orange Tunisia confirms its role as an actor committed for digital inclusion and equal opportunities, by combining recognition of individual successes and societal actions.
