Transavia France strengthens its offer to Tunisia and announces 16 lines for this winter, including a novelty Toulouse-Tunis, with more than 650,000 seats available for the summer of 2026. The Low-Cost company thus consolidates its role as first operator between the two countries, as part of its renewed partnership with the National Tunisian Tourist Office (ONT).
The renewal of the partnership contract was signed by Olivier Mazzucchelli, CEO of Transavia France, and Julien Mallard, Deputy Director General Commercial, alongside Mehdi Haloui, Director General of ONTT, in the presence of the Minister of Tourism and Crafts, Sofiene Tekaya. The ceremony was held on the sidelines of the IFTM Paris show, with the participation of the ambassadors of Tunisia and France, as well as presidents of the professional tourism federations (FTH and FTAV).
Important development towards Tunisia
Transavia France provides for an increase of almost 10% of its seats this winter compared to 2024. The company now serves 16 lines from France to five Tunisian destinations:
- Tunis: Toulouse (new), Paris-Orly, Nantes, Lyon, Montpellier, Marseille, Nice
- Djerba: Paris-Orly, Nantes, Lyon, Marseille
- Monastir: Paris-Orly, Nantes, Lyon
- Sfax and Tozeur: Direct flights from Paris
For the summer of 2026, Transavia will offer a new Montpellier – Djerba link, with a weekly flight on Mondays from April 20, 2026 (go simple from 69 €).
A clear ambition
Julien Mallard underlined:
“With more than 40% market share, Transavia France is the first air operator between France and Tunisia. We want to offer our customers always more possibilities to this historic destination, a vector of strategic growth for our company. »»
The partnership also aims to support the objective of the ONTT: reaching 2 million French tourists by 2030, confirming Tunisia as a key market for Transavia France.
