Subcontracting: the Syrine Mrabet deputy draws up a list of companies concerned

On September 23, 2025, the deputy Sirine Marrabet published on his Facebook page A written questioning to the Minister of Social Affairs concerning non-compliance, by several public institutions and private companies, of legal framework prohibiting subcontracting and governing the regularization of workers.

According to Marrabet, this approach follows many complaints received from employees denouncing the lack of tenure and integration In these structures, despite the legislation in force.

Institutions and companies concerned

The deputy explicitly appointed a list of entities where the practice of abusive subcontracting persists:

  • Public sector: ETAP, Tunisian post, Tunisair, Cereal Office, Office des Terre Terres, National Sanitation Office.
  • Petroleum private sector: TPS (Tyna Petroleum Services, Sfax), APO (Amilcar Petroleum Activities).
  • Chemical industries: Tunisian chemical group in Skhira, Gabès chemical company.
  • Public works companies: Somatra-Get.
  • Other sectors: Tourist training agencies, municipalities in municipalities.
  • Other structures mentioned: Carrefour, the Jebel El Oust health complex, the National Institute for major agricultural farms from Bousalem to Jendouba, files of senior retirees.

A targeted and pressing action

In his written question, Marrabet asked if the processing of these files could be accelerated And if the efforts could be contact details with the ministries concerned in order to guarantee the effective respect of the law.

By publicly appointing the companies and institutions concerned, the MP seeks to exert maximum pressure so that the situation of workers is quickly regularizedemphasizing his determination to enforce the legislation against abusive subcontracting.
