A delegation of ten Chinese suppliers took part in a meeting dedicated to the automotive component sector, organized on September 18, 2025 in Tunis, in the presence of Tunisian professionals and representatives of public structures, announced the Tunisia Investment Authority (TIA).
Mobilization of the Tunisian ecosystem
The event, bringing together more than 100 participants, highlighted the exceptional involvement of the Tunisian ecosystem, including public institutions, professional associations and private sector players, around common objectives: supporting investment projects, attracting new investors and promoting the creation of qualified jobs.
This initiative is part of a visit organized by the Chinese group Taikang Electronics, specialist in precision mecatronics systems for the automotive industry, and Autoliv Europe, manufacturer of automotive security equipment. It aimed to enhance the potential of Tunisia as a key regional platform for the automotive industry.
B2B business and exchanges
The meeting was punctuated by B2B sessions between 9 Chinese companies, representing different segments of the automotive value chain (wiring, electronics, mechanical components, plastic, etc.), and more than 10 Tunisian companies, as well as subsidiaries of international companies already established in Tunisia.
According to the TIA, this initiative testifies to the growing interest of Chinese industrialists for Tunisia, strengthening the positioning of the country as a regional hub and paving the way to the implementation of high added value projects and generators of qualified jobs.
