Morocco and the African Football Confederation (CAF) announced, Friday, the implementation of a new application called Yalla for the African Cup of Nations 2025. This digital counter will bring together electronic ticketing, the compulsory fan-ID and an e-visa module for foreign supporters. Unpublished measure: Tunisian citizens will also have to obtain an exceptional and temporary e-visa to attend the competition.

A unique application for CAN

The local organizing committee and the CAF have confirmed that the Yalla application will be operational on September 25, 2025. All ticket holders will have to create an account in order to generate a fan-ID, an essential digital card to enter stages and fan zones. Without this document, no access will be authorized.

In addition to the management of tickets and fan-id, Yalla will offer an integrated e-visa service for international supporters.

An e-visa imposed on Tunisians

Particularity of the device: Tunisians will also have to go through this system, as announced The Consulate General of the Kingdom of Morocco in Tunis. Morocco has decided, in an exceptional and temporary manner, to submit Tunisian nationals and those of all countries participating in the CAN in obtaining a CAN E-visa (AEVM). A derogation from the usual traffic rules between the two countries, which will only apply to the duration of the tournament.

For organizers, this platform aims to centralize and secure access to CAN infrastructure. It also makes it possible to manage in a fluid way the massive arrivals of foreign supporters.
