Carthage eagles continue to rise! The Tunisian national selection climbs to 46ᵉ world place in the FIFA ranking, consolidating its position among the African elite and confirming its qualification for the 2026 World Cup.

Posted Thursday September 18, 2025, The new FIFA ranking places Tunisia in 46ᵉ positionup three places compared to its 49ᵉ previous position. This progression reflects the positive dynamics of the national team and its success during the recent international meetings.

At the continental level, Tunisia occupies the 7ᵉ African place, behind Morocco (11ᵉ world), Senegal (18ᵉ), Egypt (35ᵉ), Algeria (38ᵉ), Côte d’Ivoire (44ᵉ) and Nigeria (45ᵉ). This position confirms the continuous competitiveness of Carthage Eagles on the continent.

Tunisia has officially validated its participation in the final phase of the 2026 World Cup. This qualification was acquired thanks to decisive victories in African qualifiers:

On a global level, Spain seizes 1ʳᵉ place, followed by France (2ᵉ) and Argentina (3ᵉ). The Top 10 is completed with England (4ᵉ), Portugal (5ᵉ), Brazil (6ᵉ), the Netherlands (7ᵉ), Belgium (8ᵉ), Croatia (9ᵉ) and Italy (10ᵉ).
