The Carthage Eagles validated their ticket for the 2026 World Cup thanks to a torn success (0-1) this Monday 8 September in Malabo. A goal from Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane in additional time officially sends Tunisia to the World Cup.

Under difficult conditions, marked by incessant rain and a slippery lawn, Tunisia had to work to impose itself in the face of a catchy equatorial Guinea. Dylan Bronn first missed a great opportunity in the 24th minute, before Aymen Dahmene was distinguished by a series of decisive stops (70th, 80th, 89th).

While the match seemed to be heading for a draw, Aymen Chawat, who entered during the game, made a decisive breakthrough and offered a perfect pass to Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane, who did not tremble in front of the empty cages (90+4th). Final score: 0-1.

Dahmene, the man of the match
