Tav Tunisia: the Russian tourism market, large of 2025

The Director General of Tav TunisiaMélanie Lefèvre, presented the results of the 2025 tourist season for Enfidha-Hammamet and Monastir airports.

According to her, the season was “Overall half successful”despite significant growth thanks to the arrival of new airlines. Indeed, five companies opened lines towards Enfidha-Hammamet and six other verses Monastir, which helped strengthen the flow of tourists. The intensification of cooperation with traditional partners has also made it possible to record a significant progression, especially on the British market, reports Jawhara FM.

The Russian market still absent

The manager, however, stressed that The Russian market remains the low balance sheet. “We record clear growth compared to 2024, but we remain below our forecasts of around 300,000 passengers”she said. She recalled that in 2019, the two airports had welcomed nearly 800,000 Russian tourists. This market remains strategic for Tav Tunisia, which works in its revival on 2026, in partnership with airlines capable of liaison.

As part of its efforts to promote Tunisia, Tav recently launched a magazine titled “The Gate”distributed free of charge on arrival at both airports. This initiative aims to support visitors throughout their stay and highlight the quality of reception and services in Tunisia.

Mélanie Lefèvre finally reaffirmed Tav Tunisia’s commitment to continue her collaboration with the Tunisian authorities for strengthen the attractiveness of the destination And fully exploit the potential of Enfidha and Monastir airports.
