The Minister of Transport, Rachid Amri, chaired, on Saturday April 5, 2025, a working meeting on the activity of the general departments of the transport sector. The objective was to take stock of the progress of priority files in the fields of land, maritime and civil aviation transport.

AMRI has stressed the importance of adapting sector orientations to the country’s financial realities and to strengthen the speed of processing of urgent files. He insisted on the need for general departments to fully play their role, both at technical and administrative level, to achieve the strategic objectives set by the government.

The Minister recalled the instructions of the President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, by calling for maximum responsiveness to meet the needs of citizens and guarantee the quality of public services. He also emphasized the importance of the current phase, marked by major social and economic challenges, and called for enhanced cooperation between all actors in the sector.

Finally, Amri encouraged a revision of working methods, in order to make administrative and technical structures more effective and adapted to current issues. He also insisted on the need to better use human resources and strengthen the skills of technical executives, in partnership with specialized training institutions.
