The youth labor office representing the movement of Palestinian Islamic resistance Hamas announced, in a statement of condolences published this Sunday, the death of the Tunisian student Khaled Fares.
According to the press release, the young man lost his life after falling from a height building while he was trying to hoist the Palestinian flag, as part of the student mobilizations organized in recent days in several Tunisian regions in solidarity with the Palestinian people and in support of Gaza.
The Hamas Youth Labor Office praised what he describes as “heroic” gesture on the part of the Tunisian student, believing that he fell into “martyr” in the context of a support for the Palestinian cause and responding to “the call of duty”.
The movement presented its condolences to the family of the deceased, his friends and his loved ones, praying for God to grant him his mercy and the highest of the paradise.
Indeed, a drama has gone to bend the student mobilizations organized in recent days in Tunisia in solidarity with Palestine.
