The External Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA-Tunisia) revealed on its Facebook page that the prestigious Italian manufacturer Sabelt, a specialist in automotive security systems, is currently carrying out an exploration mission in Tunisia to potentially establish a new production unit.

A high-level delegation led by Massimiliano Marsiaj, executive vice-president, and Giulio Graziano, managing director, continues his prospecting visit started since April 6 and which will be extended until tomorrow.

Yesterday, the director general of FIPA-Tunisia, Jalel Tebib, received the Italian delegation to present the competitive advantages of the country, the potential of the Tunisian automotive sector and the Pact for competitiveness recently put in place.

Sabelt, a global Italian reference company in the manufacture of safety systems for the automobile, motorsport, aerospace and SIM Racing, would bring precious expertise to the Tunisian automotive sector in the event of implementation.

The external investment promotion agency has formally committed to supporting the company in all the stages necessary for the realization of this strategic investment project for the Tunisian economy.
