Mobilization of funding for schools and cultural centers

The President of the Republic, Kais Saied, received, in the afternoon of Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at the Palais de Carthage, Sarra Zaâfrani Zenzri, head of the government, as well as Mechkat Salama Khaldi, Minister of Finance.

This high -level meeting was devoted to the examination of the functioning of several national financial institutions, in a demanding economic and social context. The Head of State stressed the importance of strengthening the transparency and efficiency of these institutions, while ensuring their full compliance with the country’s economic recovery objectives.

In addition, the president has emphasized the urgent need to rehabilitate a number of educational and cultural establishments, calling for a mobilization of resources to ensure their maintenance and their proper functioning. According to him, these infrastructures are essential pillars for consolidating the social fabric and sustainable development.

In the same spirit, Kais Saied gave his instructions to allocate the funding necessary for the restart of several economic institutions visited during its tour of December 17, 2024. This initiative is part of a global recovery plan aimed at supporting the marginalized regions and giving back a second breath to the local economy.
