The investigating judge at the Sidi Bouzid court of first instance decided, in the afternoon of Thursday, April 17, 2025, to maintain the director of the Lycée de Mezzouna.
The director of the establishment appeared today before the court in police custody, after his arrest in the context of the investigation opened on the circumstances of the collapse of the high school wall in question, which caused the death of three students and made several injured, according to the Mosaic FM.
The collapse, which occurred on Monday, April 14, of a part of a dilapidated wall belonging to the secondary school in Mezzouna led to the death of three students aged 18 to 19.
Two other people were injured in various degrees and were rescued and then transferred to the local Mezzouna hospital.
