The President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, chaired a meeting of the Council of Ministers on Thursday morning, during which several draft laws and decrees were examined.
Two texts have particularly caught attention. The first concerns the procedures for intervention and management of the agricultural damage compensation fund caused by natural disasters. This device aims to support small farmers, often the most vulnerable to climatic vagaries, and to strengthen their resilience.
The second draft decree provides specific conditions and procedures to enable industrial companies to benefit from tax advantages during the acquisition of buses intended for the transport of their workers.
These measures are part of a logic of social justice, according to the press release from the presidency, which highlights the importance given to both the protection of small farmers and the dignity of industrial workers, by ensuring them full and whole rights.
