On the night of Tuesday 26 to Wednesday, August 27, 2025, the President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, went to La Goulette in order to see the progress of the repair work on the wastewater evacuation channel.
The visit was broadcast in the midnight television news, offering a direct overview of the intervention of the head of state on the field.
