Case of sectors to conflict zones: audience postponed to May 2

The criminal chamber specializing in terrorism affairs, falling under the Tunis court of first instance, decided to postpone the hearing for the so -called “youth sending networks in the homes of tension in Friday May 2 in the so -called.

According to a judicial source quoted Wednesday by the Tunis Africa Press agency (TAP), the Friday session will be devoted to the accused’s auditions, and the verdict could be returned in the process.

Lawyers’ pleadings lasted up to an advanced hour of the night, between Tuesday and Wednesday, indicating the intensity and complexity of the file.

As a reminder, this case dates back to September 2022, when the Tunis Court of Appeal announced that 820 people were officially charged.

Among them are several leading political and security figures, including Ali Larayedh, former Minister of the Interior and Head of Government under Troika, now vice-president of the Ennahdha movement.

Also prosecuted Fathi Beldi, ex-security responsible, and Abdelkarim Laabidi, former manager responsible for security at Tunis-Carthage airport.
