The Qatar Charity association has given support of more than 3 million dinars to the Tunisian health sector.

This Monday, May 5, 2025, the Ministry of Health signed a cooperation agreement with the Qatar Charity association, worth 3.5 million Qataris Riyals (around 3 million Tunisian dinars), intended to strengthen the health sector in Tunisia.

The Minister of Health, Mustapha Ferjani, said that this support will improve the working conditions of medical and paramedical staff, and to strengthen access to health services for Tunisian citizens, in particular through the construction of more than 20 care units in various regions of the country, in particular in the interior areas.

Mr. Ferjani praised the professionalism of the Tunisian office of Qatar Charity, also thanking the ambassador of Qatar to Tunisia for his efforts, and underlined the continuity of cooperation between the two countries in various fields.

In a statement to Mosaic FM, the Qatar ambassador to Tunis, Zayed Bin Said Al-Khayarin, confirmed the continuation of bilateral cooperation, adding that an agreement in the field of education has already been signed, and another agreement with the Ministry of Social Affairs will soon be concluded.
