Orange Tunisie inaugurated a new data center in Kalaa Kebira, Sousse, in the presence of Mr. Sofiene Hemissi, Minister of Communication Technologies, Mr. Blolotte Ba, Deputy Director General, Middle East Orange and Africa and Mr. Thierry Millet, Director General of Orange Tunisia. This latest generation data center is part of the country’s digital transformation dynamics and has been designed to respond to the highest standards in terms of performance, security and resilience.

A strategic site for optimal performance

With an area of 1000 m² and a technical environment in accordance with the Tier III standard, this new data center guarantees maximum availability of the accommodated services, thanks to a complete redundancy of the systems. It was designed to provide reliable, secure and scalable solutions, by meeting the growing needs of Tunisian companies in the digital field.

An infrastructure dedicated to Tunisian companies

The purpose of this data center is to support not only the internal needs of Orange Tunisia, but also those of its B2B customers. It will offer high quality accommodation solutions, covering services such as cloud, backup, or activity continuity, in a locally controlled environment. It is specifically intended for companies looking for powerful and secure digital solutions.

A 100% Tunisian project

Fruit of collaborative work between Tunisian companies, this project reflects local know-how in the fields of engineering, IT infrastructure and digital services. It testifies to national expertise and the desire to strengthen the country’s technological ecosystem.

Accessibility, security and resilience at the heart of the infrastructure

Ideally located and added to fiber optics by operators in the square, the data center benefits from a strategic location offering optimal accessibility. It incorporates advanced physical and logical security technologies, access control and service continuity. It constitutes a key element of Orange Tunisia network architecture, thus strengthening the solidity and reliability of the services offered nationally.

With this investment, Orange Tunisia confirms its commitment to supporting the Tunisian digital economy and supporting local businesses in their transition to sovereign, reliable and high quality digital solutions.
