Ooredoo Tunisia relies on local innovation with Bako Motors

The operator Ooredoo Tunisia and the pioneer startup of solar electric vehicles unite their strengths to support innovation and sustainable mobility.

A symbolic visit to the Mghira factory

As part of their partnership, Mansoor Rashid al-Khater, CEO of Ooredoo Tunisia, and his team visited the Bako Motors factory in Mghira (Ben Arous), meeting the startup to celebrate its successes.

This visit illustrates Ooredoo’s continuous support for local innovators who advance sustainable mobility in Tunisia.

Connected cars

Ooredoo and Bako Motors plan to integrate connectivity into future models of the startup, thus opening the way to the connected car made in Tunisia. Believing that this partnership embodies a sustainable and technological transformation, Mansoor Rashid al-Khater, CEO of Ooredoo Tunisia said:

Highlighting the Bako Bee competition and vehicle

On this occasion, Ooredoo Tunisia presented the keys to a Bako Bee electric vehicle to the winner of the Father’s Day, rewarding the creativity and public commitment, while highlighting the Tunisian technological potential.
