The Minister of Equipment, Housing and Regional Planning, Salah Zouari, announced this Monday, May 12, 2025, during his visit to the governorate of Kef, that the tender file for the study of the motorway project connecting Tunis to Kef will be finalized soon.
This structuring project provides for a 115 -kilometer route, starting from the A3 motorway at the Medjez El Bab exchanger, including the regions of Qballet, the El Araoussa delegation, then the agricultural area of Sidi Bourouis, until reaching the Dahmani road at the locality of Boulifah.
The route will then extend to the national road n ° 17, at Oued Erremel.
The Minister said that the choice of the final layout will allow the competent authorities to anticipate and overcome the main obstacles to the launch of the project, in particular the land regularization and the preparation of the tender file, which should be completed by the end of 2025.
