On a visit to Béja, the Minister of Employment Riadh Chaoued announced a series of measures in favor of employment and training, in particular the launch of new specialties adapted to the regional economy.
The Minister of Employment and Vocational Training, Riadh Chaoued, revealed this Monday that more than 20,000 recruitments are planned in the public service for the year 2026. Some of these positions will aim to fill the existing holidays, in accordance with the directives of the President of the Republic.
Speaking during a working visit to the governorate of Béja, the Minister stressed that the National Council of Regions and Districts will play a central role in the development of the development plan and in the proposal of projects, in particular in terms of training centers. He said that his department is currently working to redesign several training specialties, including those offered in centers dedicated to young rural girls, deemed obsolete.
Riadh Chaoued called on the actors concerned to better communicate on existing initiatives, available funding and the systems put in place to support employment, such as the “Auto-Entrepreneur” initiative or even the integration programs for people with disabilities.
