Recalling that the 1995 law prohibits the transfer of agricultural land under the domain of the State, the Minister of State and Land Affairs, Wajdi Hadhili, however announced that the Ministry presented a proposal allowing citizen companies to manage these land within the framework of a new development approach.
The latter aims to facilitate payment methods, in order to better integrate these lands into the economic circuit and to serve the objectives of sustainable development.
Speaking yesterday Monday during a plenary session in the assembly of people representatives, in Bardo, the minister indicated that his department is working on a project to digitize public land heritage through the development of an integrated digital card. He said this program is advancing at a rate covering around 10,000 hectares per year, according to the human and material resources available. This project will provide specific data, if the necessary resources are met.
The Minister also explained that the inventory of state property is done in the field, thanks to the movements of specialized technical teams, responsible for verifying the property of the State and evaluating the value of the goods in question.
In addition, Wajdi Hadhili stressed that, as part of the rehabilitation of the social role of the real estate company of Tunisia and the social housing promotion company in the housing sector, three decrees were issued. These texts relate to property located in Mornaguia, Grombalia, Mghira and Fouchana, with a view to their symbolic transfer to the symbolic dinar in all regions of the country.
