More than 70 deputies have signed a correspondence addressed to the head of the government, through the president of the Parliament, in which they request the taking of exceptional measures to ensure the success of the next agricultural seasons.
This approach follows the numerous failures noted during their field visits, according to the content of the letter.
Elected officials in particular demand an urgent intervention to reform the functioning of the National Oil Office, both logistically and organizing. They also propose to strengthen the installation of the services of the National Office of Fourrage, both central and regional, by entrusting the distribution of subsidized foods and launching the digitization of the sector.
Correspondence also includes several recommendations concerning the Office des Lands Domaniale, in particular the implementation of a global strategy for the enhancement of agricultural land heritage.
The deputies believe that the situation requires rapid and concrete decisions, stressing that the bills under preparation to reform the sector still require time before being examined and adopted by the Assembly.
