The correctional chamber specializing in financial corruption affairs, falling under the Tunis court of first instance, sentenced a former deputy for Parliament dissolved to four years and two months in prison in the context of three separate cases.

The sentences were grouped into a single conviction. In addition to the prison sentence, the former elected official will have to pay nearly five million dinars of fines.

This decision follows a referral to the file by the economic and financial judicial center, which had sent the case to the competent chamber.
