From November 4 to 8, 2025, Tunis will be the scene of the World Congress of the Young International Chamber (JCI), a major meeting that will bring together more than 3,000 participants from around the world. The Japanese delegation promises to be among the most numerous.

During a meeting with the Minister of Commerce and Development of Exports, Samir Abid, the World Secretary General of the JCI, Elvin Teo, stressed the importance of this event for Tunisia. He sees it as a concrete opportunity to enhance the country’s economic potential and to arouse the interest of investors.

The meeting, in which the president of the Junior Economic Chamber of Tunisia and the director of the Congress also took part, made it possible to take stock of the preparations. For the organizers, this congress represents much more than a simple rally: it aims to create bridges between young Tunisian and international entrepreneurs, in particular Asia and Africa.

Samir Abid recalled that the Tunisian youth, competent and turned towards innovation, plays a key role in economic recovery. Through this event, Tunisia hopes to strengthen its position as an attractive destination for investment and export.
