Tunisia is preparing to receive a first cargo of new bus as part of a contract signed with the Chinese manufacturer King Long for the acquisition of 300 vehicles.

The project, in the amount of 152 million dinars, is supervised by the Ministry of Transport and the Tunisia Embassy in China.

A video broadcast by the Facebook page of the Tunisia Embassy in China shows the start of loading operations at the port of Xiamen, marking the launch of the expedition to Tunisia.

This project is part of the strategic priorities of the State aimed at modernizing the public transport sector. He also responds to the guidelines of President Kaïs Saïed, who called to accelerate the import of bus and metro trains to improve transport conditions.

Buses will be delivered as soon as possible. They will strengthen the fleet of the Tunis Transport Society (TransTU), with the aim of improving the service offered to users.
