The Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy welcomed this Friday, May 23, 2025, a working session bringing together Minister Fatma Thabet Chiboub and the Director General of the Small and Medium -sized Business Financing Bank (BFPME), Wajih Hassine.
The meeting was held in the presence of the chief of staff of the ministry, Afef Chachi Tayari, as well as several officials of the central administration, the promotion agency for industry and innovation, the industrial property agency and the BFPME.
The discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between the ministry and the bank, in particular in the field of financing and supporting small and medium -sized enterprises. The emphasis was placed on the need to adapt the existing support mechanisms and to offer new ones, in order to meet the needs of young industrial promoters and start-up creators.
Participants also mentioned the importance of implementing concrete financing solutions, in connection with national economic guidelines. The objective is to contribute to the creation of jobs and regional development, through the promotion of initiatives in the SME sector.
