Tunisia is preparing to live on Monday June 2, 2025, one of the most important moments of the school year: the start of the written tests of the baccalaureate. According to figures communicated this Friday by the Minister of Education, Nourredine Nouri, 151,808 candidates are registered for the main session of the national examination, divided between public, private and free candidates.

During a press conference held at the headquarters of the ministry in Tunis, the Minister said that 125,515 students come from public high schools, 18,351 come from the private sector, while 7,942 candidates will present themselves as free candidates, often within the framework of a recovery or a reorientation.

The written tests will take place over two weeks, on 2, 3, 4, 9, 9, 10 and 11, 2025, under conditions strictly supervised by the educational and security authorities. The results of this main session will be announced on Tuesday, June 24, 2025.

For the adjourned candidates, a control session is scheduled for June 30, July 1, 2 and 3, 2025, with a proclamation of the results set for Sunday July 13.

The Ministry of Education assured that it has taken all logistical and security measures to guarantee the smooth running of exams in all centers across the country. Fraud awareness campaigns have also been relaunched, in particular on the use of digital technologies prohibited during the tests.
