Mobilization of August 21: the SNJT castigates the absence of coverage of public media

The National Union of Tunisian Journalists (SNJT) expressed concern about the “media black carpet” which surrounded the demonstration organized by the UGTT on Thursday, August 21, 2025.

The SNJT claims that thousands of citizens have taken part in the mobilization of August 21, intended to bring national demands. However, according to the union, the majority of public media have chosen not to cover the event, with the exception of a few isolated cases.
