According to a press release from the Presidency of the Republic published on Saturday August 16, 2025President Kaïs Saïed said on Friday August 15 that there is “no intention to settle accounts with anyone”, while specifying that there will be No decline in accounting for accounts And No hesitation in recovering every millime belonging to the Tunisian people.

These statements were made during a meeting at the Palais de Carthage with Sarra Zaafrani Zanzrihead of the government, devoted to examining several public services and the finance bill for next year.

Kaïs Saïed said that “the greater the challenges, the greater our determination to take up them” and that “no voice must rise above that of the people”. He pointed out that Tunisia saw “historical moments” marked by a net cleavage between those who stand alongside the people and their legitimate demands, and those in the opposite camp, internally and abroad.

The president recalled that what was accomplished in the social field, as well as the actions in progress, aim to fully respond to the aspirations of Tunisians in terms of employment, freedom and national dignity.

He finally renewed his instructions for redouble their efforts to restructure many administrations deemed unnecessary And replacing without hesitation any responsible for his homework And ignored the historical scope as long as the country experiences. He added that even the long -term unemployed, although they can lack experience, burn patriotism and are able to contribute concretely to the “battle for national liberation”.
