A new hot day is waiting for Tunisians this Tuesday, August 19, with temperatures up to 42 ° C inside the country. The INM also provides Sirocco blows and a sea that will widen overnight.

INM forecasts indicate that the maximums will vary between 32 and 36 ° C on coastal regions and heights, and between 37 and 42 ° C in the rest of the country, with localized Sirocco episodes.

The sky will generally be not very cloudy, but more dense cloudy clusters will appear in the afternoon in the western, north and center regions.

The meteorological authorities call for vigilance in the face of heat peaks, especially in the interior regions, as well as the changing maritime conditions in the evening.

This increase in temperatures is part of a summer wave marked by dry heat episodes and Sirocco winds which regularly affect the interior regions, accentuating the risk of fires and dehydration.
