Libya recorded yesterday, Tuesday, March 24, 2020, its first confirmed case of Coronavirus. The first data indicates that it is a Libyan back from Saudi Arabia who was confined and taken care of in a Tripoli hospital. Except that at a priori Saudite Arabia was not its only point of passage.
According to the “Libya Alhadath” channel which quotes medical sources in Tripoli, this first patient entered Libya by the border post of Ras Jedir, Tunisia, 20 days ago.
Note that yesterday, the President of the Kais Republic Saied called the Head of Government of the Libyan National Union, Fayez al-Sarraj for an interview relating in particular to the development of the health situation in the two countries linked to the spread of the coronavirus.
To this end, Al-Sarraj proposed the help of his country to Tunisia to deal with the spread of this virus on its soil.
