Tunisia has won two new medals in the 22nd edition of the African athletics championships which take place in Mauritius.
Dorra Mahfoudhi won, yesterday, Friday, June 10, 2022, the Silver Saut Auch medal, by making a jump of 3.70 m, on the third day.
This medal is added to the winner of the athlete, which had won the gold medal at the African athletics games (2011), the Arab championships (2017 and 2019) and the African championships (2018).
For his part, Mohamed Farès Jelassi won the bronze medal of the 400 m while traveling the distance in 45:54.
These two medals are added to that of bronze won Thursday by Nada Chroudi to the heptathlon test.
The latter totaled 5,117 points finishing in third place behind Beninese Odile Ahouanwanou (5765) and South African Shanon Pours (5329).
