The Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte said a television speech in the evening of Wednesday, April 1, 2020 during which he addressed his people.

A speech during which he reiterated his appeal to the people to respect the decreed confinement and recalled that it was vital that everyone cooperates in the fight against the coronavirus and respects these confinement measures.

But the surprise was great when he was declared having given the police and the army to shoot down all those who violate confinement.

“It gets worse. So once again I share with you the severity of the problem and you have to listen to. ” “My orders to the police and the army (…) if there are troubles and there is a possibility that they are retaliating, with a risk for your lives, kill them by ball”. “Is it well understood?” Dead. Instead of causing troubles, I will bury you, “said the head of state, reports the Reuters agency.

The Philippines have identified 2,311 confirmed cases of coronavirus contamination and 96 deaths in the past three weeks.
