The coronavirus pandemic caused more than 210,000 dead worldwide, including more than 85 % in Europe and the United States and 3 million confirmed cases, including only a third in the United States.
In total, 210,930 deaths were identified worldwide to, until the last update, 3,027,853 cases.
In Europe there are 126,793 of 1,404,171 cases, the most affected continent. The United States is the country having recorded the most deaths, 56,253, ahead of Italy, 26,977, Spain, 23,822 and France 23.293.
WHO Director General, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, said on Monday, April 27, 2020, at a virtual press conference around the Pandemic of Covid-19: “We have a long way to go and a lot of work to do”.
In Tunisia, according to the latest assessment of the Ministry of Health, 967 confirmed cases were identified until April 26, out of a total of 21,081 screenings, with 279 recovery and 39 deaths. Recall that Tunisia has been in total confinement since March 22, which will continue at least until May 3, 2020. From May 4, the country will enter a phase of progressive and targeted deconfination.
