The World Health Organization (WHO) reported that a record increase in coronavirus infection was recorded worldwide on Sunday, June 21, 2020.
In 24 hours, the total number of infections reached 183,020 including more than 116 thousand new cases recorded in North America and Latin America. The previous record for contamination over a day had been recorded on June 18, with 181,232 cases.
Also according to WHO, the world record is now more than 8.7 million contaminations and 461,000 dead.
