The Tunisian weightlifter Ghofrane Belkhir (59 kg) won, this Saturday, July 2, 2022, the gold medal of the shoulder of the Mediterranean Games tournament of Oran-2022.
The Tunisian managed to lift 115 kg ahead of the Italian Lucrèce Magistris (114 kg) and the Egyptian Basma Ibrahim (113 kg).
On the other hand, she finished in 4th place in the test of the tear by raising 91 kg.
Thanks to this new feat, Tunisia now totals 22 medals (4 gold, 7 silver and 11 bronze), appearing in 8th place in the table of medals behind Turkey, Italy, Algeria, Serbia, Spain, France and Egypt.
Yesterday, Tunisian athletes won two silver and five bronze medals. The silver medals were won by Nihel Cheikhrouhou in judo (+78 kg) and Marwa Bouzayani in the 3000 m steeple.
The bronze medals were obtained by the judoka Wahib Hdiouch (+100 kg), the weightlifting Amine Bouhijbha (-61 kg) with the shoulder and snatched shoulder and the Bilel Mhamdi (-57 kg) and Wafa Hafsi (-48).
