The Presidency of the Republic announced that the UN Security Council adopted, this Wednesday, July 1, 2020, the draft resolution on the Pandemic COVID-19 presented by Tunisia and France.
This three -page project, submitted on April 22, calls on the 15 members of the Security Council to “enhanced coordination” against the coronavirus and a “cessation of hostilities” in countries at its agenda, according to the text obtained by AFP.
Quoted by AFP, Kaïs Kabtani, the permanent representative of Tunisia at the United Nations, the Tunisia ambassador to the UN, described the adoption of the “historical feat”.
