In view of the reappearance of several centers of contamination by the coronavirus in several countries having already experienced a first wave, the Emergency Committee of the World Health Organization (WHO) meets this Friday, July 31 to reassess the pandemic of COVID-19, which continues to progress in a worrying manner in the world.
Composed of around twenty members and advisers, the Committee can offer new recommendations or amend some, even if it does not make any doubts that the international emergency will be maintained, while the pandemic has affected more than 17 million people and left more than 660,000 dead.
For his part, the Director General of the World Health Organization, said that “young people are not invincible against COVID-19”. “In some countries, they are too many in some countries, causing an increase in the transmission of the virus,” he warned.
