The President of the Republic, Kais Saied decorated this Thursday, July 14, 2022, the Tunisian champion Ons Jabeur of the first class insignia of the National Order of Sports Merit and this, during a ceremony at the Carthage Palace, according to the press release published by the Presidency of the Republic.
This distinction comes as a sign of consideration to the Tunisian sportswoman for her international exploits.
In this sense, Kais Saied welcomed Ons Jabeur for the effort she had made in order to climb to the first places in the WTA world ranking, believing that Jabeur was a real ambassador of his country and contributed to the promotion of Tunisia and the skills of his youth when he is granted the means to shine and be illustrated in all areas.
In addition, it should be recalled that Tunisie Telecom provides a ceremony in honor of Ons Jabeur, tomorrow, Friday July 15, 2022 in front of the municipal theater of Tunis from 10:30 am.
