Yesterday, it was the President of the Republic, Kais Saied who decorated the Tunisian champion of the first class badge of the national order of sporting merit and this, during a ceremony at the Palais de Carthage.

Ons Jabeur was also received by the government’s head of the government, Najla Bouden, at the Palais de la Kasbah. On this occasion, Najla Bouden praised her historic feat of having become the first Arab and African player to reach the final of a Grand-Chelem tournament.

In the evening, Ons Jabeur made a real triumph in Carthage where she was welcomed as a diva by the public of the Roman theater of Carthage on the occasion of the opening evening of the International Festival, provided by “Ochek Denia” by Abdelhamid Bouchnak.
