Tunisian Walid Boudhiaf was crowned world apnea champion during the world championship organized by the International Association for the Development of Apnea (AIDA), which was held in Honduras.
The coronation of Boudiaf intervened after having made a distance of 116 meters in free diving in a time of 3 minutes and 54 seconds, giving Tunisia the gold medal and the global coronation of competition.
Walid Boudhiaf is also holding the world record for apnea, triple gold medalist in international competitions and world vice-champion at the CMAS-World Confederation of underwater activities.
