The author of the terrorist attack perpetrated yesterday, Thursday October 29, 2020 in Nice in France, was identified as a Tunisian. A new sad and raising for the hundreds of thousands of Tunisians living in France.
What is obvious is that, unknown to the security services, the suspect, aged 21, is not classified as a terrorist in Tunisia.
Mohamed Farhat, Tunisian journalist at France 24, said that the author of the attack had joined the Italian coast on October 9, aboard an illegal immigration boat.
After carrying out quarantine in Lampedusa, he headed for Nice where he committed his criminal act.
He added that the suspect is currently staying in hospital, that his condition is not serious, and that his identity is being confirmation by DNA.
“The public prosecutor of France should give more details on the author of the operation this evening,” he added, highlighting the great anger within the Tunisian community in Nice.
